artist

these colors and textures wild nature brambles thorns

trees some already gone leaning or the largest still standing tall

a stream a torrent with a lot of rain gentle now

on this middle May day such a coming together of different colors

scenes some might call ugly piles of brush and branches a rotting woodpile birthing mushrooms

but the artist sees differently sees everything as one big canvas and is mesmerized by each brushstroke each detail captured perfectly

in a trance of noticing each place out there and imagining the artist’s process

until a bee flies into the picture buzzes around a nearby empty chair then around a tree and then gone

struck then by the idea that the canvas is a movie instantly re created each moment in every direction with motion and action revealed as the frames fly by

and the artist laughs and is grateful for the artistry
