that my electronic library
is temporary
mine for just so long as I can keep myself
breathing
and supplied with
currency for
wires magnetic electrons sailing
swirling pulsing in waves from one device to
. . . finally my brain
to bombard my 80 year old mind in part
with simple reading just me and some words
a foray
an artist’s hunt for new ideas
new angles new light
new shadows
I still work I still learn
so much unread in my electronic library
and, I must now admit
diminishing time
can a writer’s words
teach me how to plot better poetry
combine irreplaceable sounds
draw better lines find better colors
carve deeper depths
design new kinds of fun
can a writer’s words
help me
see hear feel
what I have never or have always
seen heard felt
before
if so, read on
or try another
or write
design
create
invent
