I had been expecting

to fall for a long time

this time it was endless no bottom    no atmosphere    no walls just free fall

one day after another whizzing by

punctuated by rituals to keep myself alive

asylum of practiced motions hands thinking for themselves

mind fluttering    fluttering finding no place to land

finally a ledge an email I can summon energy to answer

a poem    an idea    a vision
