snow

this morning
the snow sifts down relentlessly
beautifully

piles up
and changes the world again
to
white light
and
forgiveness

my spirit
sifts my losses
father mother
sister daughter friend
unending sorrow
on my every branch

the white world outside
is a comfort

speaking perfectly
for all I feel

inside
